ARCTIC COMIC CON GLACIER CRUISE IN WHITTIER ALASKA - HOSTED BY SAM J JONES (Flash Gordon)!

CRUISE INFORMATION

1. Location: Phillips Cruises - Cliffside Marina: 100 W Camp Rd, Whittier, Alaska 99693.
2. Duration: 2.5 Hours.
3. Check-in Starts: 5:00 PM. (Address above)
4. Departure Time: 6:00 PM (leaving the dock in Whittier)
5. Return Time: 8:30 PM. (returning to the dock in Whittier)
6. Description: Explore Prince William Sound on this one-of-a-kind Comic Con VIP experience hosted by the great Sam J. Jones. We'll travel through Passage Canal as we head to Blackstone Bay, a dramatic deep-water fjord where two tidewater glaciers and several alpine glaciers await. The white spray of glistening waterfalls cascading down to the sea from glaciers perched on the mountain peaks make for an amazing backdrop while being surrounded by the beautiful Chugach National Forest. Keep an eye out for sea otters, Steller sea lions, bears, mountain goats, whales and more! Complimentary roundtrip motorcoach service and meal are included with your ticket.

If YOU ARE DRIVING TO WHITTIER

If driving from Anchorage, use the tunnel schedule times from Bear Valley to Whittier. Use the 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM tunnel to ensure that you will be able to board on time and not miss the 6:00 PM departure. The tunnel access to Whittier is available from 4:30 PM – 4:45 PM and again at 5:30 PM – 5:45 PM. Please allow time to pay the tunnel toll and get in line before the tunnel access times. More information is available for the Whittier Tunnel here: www.dot.state.ak.us/creg/whittiertunnel. Cell phone service is very limited or non-existent on the Portage Glacier Road and through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. Speed limits are strictly enforced so please allow extra travel time and don't miss the tunnel. Once in Whittier, our office is only one mile from the tunnel.

Parking in Whittier

We recommend guests use the Whittier Parking and Camping $10/day lot on Whittier Street. The Cliffside Marina allows for drop-off and pick-up of our guests and provides clean restrooms for use before or after their cruise. Parking in the Cliffside Marina is reserved for marina slip owners with a few spots designated for our guests with limited mobility for $15/day.

RULES AND IMPORTANT STUFF YOU NEED TO READ & KNOW

** This is an all-ages show but if you are under 21 years of age, you'll need to be with a guardian that is 21 or older. General Admission tickets allow you to stand right up in front of the stage if you like. Come early to get your spot.  

** Kids 5 and under get in free. 1 kid per paid adult.

** You can bring your own camp or folding chairs but please do not block other people's view. 

** This concert is rain or shine.  

** You will need to show a legal/accepted ID if you want to purchase/drink alcohol at the concert.

** No outside food or beverages allowed in. 

** No re-entry once you leave unless it is an emergency, or you are VIP. 

** If you are under 21 and caught drinking or over 21 and caught purchasing alcohol for minors, you will be arrested and handed over to police. 

** If you take your wrist band off during the event and are caught, you will be asked to leave and will need to pay for a ticket to come back in. If yours breaks for some reason, please head to the front gate & get a new one to put on.  

** No pets or animals are aloud unless they are a certified service/support animal.

** No big bags, backpacks, umbrellas or tents will be allowed in, and smaller bags will be searched. (So don't try and smuggle things in). 

** No weapons/guns allowed.
